Food... But Not Just Any Kind of Food

Americans love food, not because (like Kuwaitis) they have nothing better to do but go to restaurants, but because it's always FREE. Free food everywhere. I have learned that people actually don’t bother to go to events or meetings or whatever unless there's free food involved. On every flyer, at every party, free food is always involved. Otherwise people simply don’t show! So if your studying in the states no need to spend your money on food, just go to an event everyday and eat!
