When The Extra Credit Lies

"This is Whitmore right here, they just didn’t open the doors yet.” said the man in blue.
“Thank you, sir.”
With barely three weeks spent in the U.S., I was excited to attend my first concert in this school. I arrived fifteen minutes early, I wasn’t the only one. The weather inside the building was warm, the environment seemed friendly with the people surrounding it.
“Oh, he must be practicing!” says the woman as we hear an instrument being played faintly on the other side of the wall.

I walk inside to find a big fancy piano in the middle of a nice looking stage with wooden striped walls. Our entertainer of the night, with the name of Peter Miamoto, will play the grand piano for us this evening starting at 8 p.m. I clutched the yellow papers that contained his biography and the titles of each piece he will be playing. The first composition was somewhat sad, it was slow for me, and I think I heard someone snoring a couple of rows back. the ones that came after the first-half sounded better, but my favorite piece was the second one, it made me want to tip-toe my way up to the sky and grab a star. I loved it! His audience went wild for him, maybe except for the gentleman snoring in the back. The audience reacted positively and applauded strongly at the end of each piece.

His hit of tones were massively mastered, his head and body movement glided with the notes he played. I would give his overall performance a five star, I certainly didn’t regret coming here tonight and wouldn’t think twice if I had to do it again, despite the difference in what I normally listen to.

What you just read is an informal report I submitted for extra credit. Here is the real story:
I did not feel like going, and I was not excited about wasting my time. I hated the fact that I had to go because I knew exactly what to expect. The reason I mentioned the second piece was my favorite one because I fell asleep right after it. I was the snoring gentleman. I woke up an hour later, exactly 30 seconds before he finished the whole concert. it was SO BORING.
